Red Zone Measures & Online Classes
As you know parts of the Outaouais are moving into the “red zone” under Quebec’s COVID-19 guidelines. These measures, specifically those concerning Studio de Danse Danielle, will come into effect on Thursday, Oct. 15. Although it is very disappointing, the Studio has been preparing for this for a few months now, and our staff is ready to provide you the same quality with a ton of creativity via Zoom. We have had dancers participating in Zoom classes since the beginning of the season, and we have outfitted out locations to provide you with the best zoom experience possible.
We will be holding in-studio classes until Wednesday, October 14th, then via Zoom effective Thursday, October 15th. Classes will continue as scheduled, and dancers will get to follow along with the same classmates, teachers, and assistants they grew to love at the studio.
Parents will be emailed a zoom link that will be functional on a weekly basis. We suggest finding a spot free from distractions with a little bit of legroom. Teachers will adapt their classes so that the students can follow easily from their own homes.
We will be updating parents as consistently as possible with all relevant information pertaining to their classes at Studio de Danse Danielle. We understand that the virtual experience isn’t the same as entering the studio, but, for now, we promise it will give your child something to look forward to every week and provide them with something remaining constant and positive in their weekly lives.
We thank you for supporting the Studio through these trying times that, unfortunately, haven’t let up yet. We hope that you continue to support your child’s passion for dance virtually until we can get back into our facilities.
