Biography:

Karin has spent three decades in the dance world. She first began her career studying at the prestigious Toronto’s National Ballet School and the Royal Winnipeg Ballet School, competing across North America and being featured in various local and national media. Today, she is co-owner of Studio Danielle (along with her sister Tanya). Karin participated in RAD and CDTA examinations starting at a young age and is now a certified and accredited teacher in the ADAPT Syllabus. She is also the founder of the Allez Bouge dance program for French-language schools and daycares and a multi-award recipient for her innovative choreography work. Passionate about making her students shine on stage, Karin has successfully prepared many students for exams in tap and jazz and competitions around North America. She also regularly applies her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Social Work to teaching her students important life skills related to teamwork, relationship building, and integrity: characteristics central to the Studio Danielle way of being.

Karin was born into the world of dance and her passion for this art form has never diminished. Her love of children is evident when she teachers, and she treats each student with great respect. She has an incredible positive attitude, and she brings out the best in her recreational and competitive students, making them technically proficient dancers who shine on stage with confidence.
